Handcrafted Guitars

Unique designs are my focus. I tend to build simply appointed, lightly braced, lively guitars with smooth lines, soft curves, and rich full,  balanced sound. My guitars are warm, responsive and articulate with a clear voice,  The comfort and intimacy I build in my guitars will inspire your music.

"I like smooth lines, soft curves and rich full sound"

Rosewood, spruce, mahogany and ebony are the traditional  tone woods preferred, In addition the traditional instrument lacquers are  applied with careful concern for the vibrational integrity of the tone woods they are meant to protect.

My unique design incorporates a ventilated "T-beam" bracing. This technique lightens the brace but maintains its integrity, strength and sound transfer ability. It lightens the entire build of the sound board enabling it to respond easily and powerfully to the energy supplied by the strings.

Sound boards are thermal-cured to forward the maturing process.  Sound holes are moved to the upper base side bout. This frees up valuable vibrating sound board real estate that is usually occupied by a 4-inch hole. Additionally, an adjustable sound port is provided in the rim of the lower base bout. This provides intimate full sound response direct access to the players ears.

My guitars are built to accommodate finger-picking and strumming;

for playing comfort; and for inspiring great music!
